Day Events
Defined: Groups of 20+ people for a day adventure
Overnight Events:
- Defined: Groups of 20+ people (ages 8+) with a contract for a retreat package of 1+ night/3+ meals.
- Events Jan 3 – March 24: 40% discount* off hourly priced activities up to 4:30PM
- Events March 25 – Dec 31: 25% discount* off on hourly activities
- Booked activities can be adjusted up until 4 weeks of arrival date without penalties
- Activity changes within 4 weeks of arrival date will disqualify your event from discounts and may incur additional costs
*Applied as long as the retreat leader submits their retreat’s list of desired activities and the number of hours for each activity to Guest Services at Refreshing Mountain 9 weeks (63 days) prior to your arrival date

Defined: Custom Large Group day adventures
- Discounts apply to hourly activities scheduled M-F
- To qualify for discounts the event must be booked and confirmed between 6-8 weeks from the event date
- Percentage applied to single day event totals, discounts for multi-day events will be based on total per day
- Discounts $1500-$1999 = 3% | $2000+ = 5%

FAQs
Do I Need To Make A Reservation?
Reservations are highly recommended whether you call ahead or book online. If you just stop in, you might have to wait an hour or more for the activity you want. We recommend you call ahead or book online to ensure availability even for day-of bookings.
What Are The Age, Weight, And Height Restrictions For The Activities?
- All activities have a maximum weight of 280 pounds.
- For most of the “high adventure” activities, individual riders must be at least five years old.
- An adult MUST accompany children under 13 for the Challenge and Aerial Excursion. For other activities, an adult need only be present. Please see the AGE RATIO GRID for specifics.
What Should I Know About The Day Of My Activity?
- All participants MUST be wearing closed-toed shoes, like sneakers. No Flip-flops.
- If you are wearing hoop or dangling earrings or a necklace, you will be asked to remove them while doing the activity. There is a safe place you can keep your belongings.
- Hair that is below the shoulder should be pulled pack.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your first scheduled activity. Come to the office, and we will direct you from there.
- Each Guest must comeplete a Release/Waiver Form. If guests are under 18, a parent/guardian must also sign the form. These can be processed online. Contact sales to get a link to add completed forms directly to your booking.
Is The Property Safe And Friendly For Children?
We are very intentional about promoting and preserving a family-friendly environment that welcomes all guests. Our goals for hospitality and many of our policies reflect the Judeo-Christian founding of the retreat center. We feel strongly that our guidelines are essential in helping us promote a wholesome, safe, enjoyable, family-friendly environment for everyone.
