Pool FAQs

We have been following the guidance and directives of the state. Governor Wolf stated pools can open. Here are CDC guidelines you may want to review prior to your visit.

Safety has been and always will be our number one priority. This guiding principle has outlined the following to ensure a safe and fun environment for guests.

  • Limited Capacity– Online booking feature now available to prevent overcrowded areas
  • Responsible Spacing– We’ve limited our pool capacity, but please remember to do your part in maintaining adequate space from other guests not in your group.
  • Routine Cleaning– High contact areas are cleaned between time slots.
  • Hand Washing Stations– Clean hands are safe for you and safe for me.
  • Masks– Employees who are not Lifeguards who are in close contact with guests will wear masks when responsible spacing cannot be maintained, unless unable to for health reasons.
  • Flexible Cancellation– For those who may feel ill we will be happy to issue store credit.

For safety reasons, we ask guests NOT to wear masks in the water. Wearing a mask at other times is at your discretion, based on your health needs.

Yes. All pool bookings must be made in advance. Tap or click here to see availability and make your reservation.

Tap or Click here for pool hours and to check availability/reserve your space. You can book up to 8 days in advance.

If you are only able to pay in cash, then once you arrive at Refreshing Mountain the pool attendants will instruct you on where to pay by cash if there are any spots available.

For a smooth guest experience we are asking you book ahead online to reserve your space.

  • All sales are final.
  • No refunds. If the pool is closed early due to unforeseen circumstances our staff will be in touch with you.

Due to COVID-19, and the limit of capacity we have each day, we couldn’t figure out how to sell pool memberships but reconcile potentially not having availability for members.  To control the max allowable guests, we had to change our model and have guests book online ahead of time. Because of this we couldn’t figure out a simple way to accommodate a “membership model” to allow that.   This year will be different on many fronts, and we will need some patience and understanding from our guests as we figure out how to offer a safe pool experience in a COVID-19 era, but we are excited to be able to open up again to our community.

We are grateful to our members and their support.

Yes, you may bring a cooler with food and drinks into the pool area. Please no glass. We also have a pavilion where you can eat.

Our cafe next to the pool serves paninis, milkshakes, hot and iced coffee, ice cream, soft pretzels and much more! You can order online here.

Because we want people to be responsibly spacing, we are not allowing people to bring their own chairs. Our chairs are set up in groupings will be set up at a safe distance to encourage responsible spacing.

You can bring pool noodles and other inflatables; however, you may only use those if the pool isn’t full. You can check with the lifeguards once you arrive to see if you can use those or not.

Yes, the cafe will be open for online ordering and pickup/takeout.
