How to Prepare for Your Outdoor Zipline Adventure
Feeling those pre-adventure jitters about your first ziplining experience? Weâve got your back! Here are some frequently asked questions (and answers) to help you prepare for your activity! Â
Should I tip my ziplining guides? đľ
Tipping is neither required nor expected (but always appreciated!). Our Zipline Guides are professionally trained and safety-conscious and are there for one reason: to make sure you have an unforgettable and safe experience. Whether you decide to tip or not, theyâll take excellent care of you!

Do I need to be in physical shape to zipline? đŞ
You donât need to be training for a marathon, but a little bit of fitness doesnât hurt. Expect to be able to support your own weight, walk over uneven terrain, and climb a few stairs. Being able to move around comfortably and stay on your feet is the determining factor. For more specifics, check out the Activities Release and Waiver Form.
What happens if the weather isnât perfect? đ˘
We operate rain or shine! But if the weather decides to get crazy (I.E, lightning, heavy downpours, really high winds) weâll give you the option to reschedule or give you store credit. Your safety and comfort come first, and no one wants to zipline in a thunderstorm!

What are the age, weight, and height restrictions? đŚ¸Â
- Max weight: 280 pounds
- Minimum age: 5 years old (No Super Babies flying through the trees- sorry!)
- Kids under 13 need an adult for the Challenge and Aerial Excursion.
- Height-wise? No restrictions!

What should I know about the day of my activity?
- Shoes: Closed-toe sneakers are a must. No flip-flops, sandals, or heels allowed.
- Jewelry: If youâve got hoop earrings or a long necklace, youâll be asked to remove them for the duration of your tour. Â We have a safe place for your to store your belongings.
- Hair: If itâs longer than shoulder-length, youâll be asked to tie it back. You donât want your hair doing the zipping for you.
- Timing: Arrive 15 minutes early to get settled, sign waivers, and get ready to fly. Weâll point you in the right direction when you get here!

What SHOULD I wear?
Comfort is key. Youâll want to wear something that lets you move freelyâthink activewear, jeans, etc. Our ziplines are fun, but youâll want to be comfortable as you glide through the air and conquer obstacles. In cooler weather? A light rain jacket or light coat will do. During summer, longer shorts and a T-shirt are perfect, since those harnesses can rub a bit.

Ready to Zip?
Now that youâre all set, all thatâs left to do is enjoy the ride. Get ready to feel the wind in your hair (or under your helmet), enjoy the thrill of soaring through the trees, and have a whole lot of “I canât believe I just did that!” moments. Whether you’re navigating our elevated obstacles or flying through our forest, thereâs nothing quite like the rush of ziplining.
Grab your gear, your sense of adventure, and a big smile. The trees are calling!
