Cabin Amenities
Everything You Need, Nothing You Don't
- 2 bedrooms plus a fold-out futon: everyone gets a real bed, and the kids can have their own room.
- Full kitchen: electric range, microwave, refrigerator and freezer, coffee maker, pots, pans and dishes. Make breakfast in your pajamas and skip the restaurant bills. Just bring groceries.
- Linens and towels included: no packing sheets or bath towels.
- Private bathroom with shower
- Air conditioning and heat: comfortable in July and in December.
- Free Wi-Fi: stay reachable if you need to, without a TV pulling everyone in.
- Board games, grilling utensils and sports equipment: some in the cabin, more to borrow from the office.
- Campfire areas: firewood is available at our cafe.

Refreshing Mountain sits on a wooded hillside in Stevens, PA, in northern Lancaster County. You get quiet nights and starry skies, with the rest of the area an easy drive away. It's also an easy weekend trip from Philadelphia, Baltimore and the Harrisburg area, which makes it one of the simplest Pennsylvania cabin rentals to get to for a short getaway.
- Ephrata and Lititz shops and restaurants: about 15 to 20 minutes
- Downtown Lancaster: about 30 minutes

Cabin Rental Questions, Answered
What Are The Rental Terms And Agreements?
- CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT. We guarantee check-in by 4PM on the arrival date. You are welcome to arrive before 4PM to enjoy the grounds. For optimal check-in ease, we do also recommend checking in prior to dusk. Checkout on the date of departure is by 10AM.
- NO SMOKING, NO ALCOHOL, and NO PETS are allowed in the cabins. $100 fine for infractions. There is a designated smoking area on the property away from all the buildings. Ask staff for assistance in locating this area.
- At least one guest of the group needs to be a minimum of 25 years old.
- This Cabin rental is somewhat like a condo rental, and as such, we do ask for some basic cleanup assistance prior to checkout (i.e. washing used dishes, stripping beds, etc). More details will be provided at check-in. Extra cleaning fees of up to $75 may be assessed if the checkout procedures are not followed.
- The Pool is included in your cabin rental (seasonal). We do request modest swimsuits at the pool (1-piece suits for girls/ladies, and boxer-style shorts for boys/men). Please pack extra towels if you plan to use the pool.
- Quiet hours on the property are 11PM to 7AM. We ask that you keep the grounds quiet outside during these hours.

How Many People Do The Cabins Sleep?
Each cabin suite sleeps up to 8 guests: one queen bed, four bunk beds, and a fold-out futon in the living area.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is guaranteed by 4 PM on your arrival date, and you're welcome to arrive earlier to enjoy the grounds. We recommend checking in before dusk. Check-out is by 10 AM.
What On-site Activities Are Available?
Cabin guests can add zipline tours, escape room adventures, ax throwing, a wildlife center visit, and more. Book activities with your overnight stay and save 15% on all on-site experiences.
Are pets, smoking or alcohol allowed?
No. Pets, smoking and alcohol are not allowed in the cabins, and there is a $100 fine for infractions. A designated smoking area is available on the property away from the buildings; ask staff for directions.
Is there a minimum age to rent a cabin?
Yes. At least one guest in your group must be 25 or older.
Is the pool included?
Yes. Cabin guests can use the outdoor pool during community pool hours in season. We ask for modest swimwear (one-piece suits for girls and women, boxer-style shorts for boys and men). Please bring your own pool towels.
