Refreshing Mountain Announces Grand Opening of Newly Renovated Pool Complex on May 16

Stevens, PA — May 13, 2026 — Refreshing Mountain is excited to announce the opening of its newly renovated pool complex on May 16, just in time for the summer season. After months of planning and improvements, guests can look forward to a refreshed, family-friendly environment designed with comfort in mind.

Over the past several months, the Refreshing Mountain team partnered with local businesses including Gingerich Builders, CLZ Concrete, and Finest Finish Painting, and many other wonderful people to complete a comprehensive makeover of the pool area.

Key Renovations & Updates

• Complete Pool Makeover began in November 2025 and was completed in May 2026

• Slide Area Transformation

• • In November 2025 this area was assessed and in need of closure due to foundation wear from water impact
  • Slide removed for safety and long-term improvements
  • Area fully rebuilt with new concrete, piping, block work, trusses, and framing

• New Pavilion Seating Area

• • Designed in response to guest requests for more shade
  • Now accommodates 80-100 guests comfortably
  • Great for pool parties

• Pool Enhancements

• • Pool tile refinished for a clean, updated look
  • Entire pool complex freshly painted, including pavilions, and cafe exterior

• Café Upgrades

• • Full facelift to the café space
  • Introduction of a more homemade menu
  • Continued focus on family-friendly offerings

These improvements reflect Refreshing Mountain’s continued commitment to listening to guest feedback and enhancing the overall visitor experience.
