5 Ziplines – Challenge Adventure

The Challenge Adventure Tour is a guided tour that combines the thrill of ziplining with the challenge of our high ropes course. Starting up a flight of stairs you quickly elevate from a mere 15 feet off the ground to 35 in one zip line. You will then have the option to choose from 9 Challenging Adventure elements. (i.e. climb across a cargo net, balance across the “wobbly log”, swing the “Monkey Vines”) all 35-45 ft. in the air. This course uses a new technology called a “continuous belay system” which helps ensure that participants are safe at all times. If you don’t want as much of a challenge, feel free to walk across our 70 ft. “cat walk” bridge instead, skipping the challenge elements and taking you to the next part of the course. You then continue on through 4 more zip lines extending to 60 feet off the ground and zipping over our pond.

7 Ziplines – Aerial Excursion

This guided tour was added in March 2013 and has been designed as a premier ziplining experience. The zip line spans are long and fast, with amazing views throughout the course. Your tour will start with a short hike to the entrance of the course. Then you can traverse up our sky bridge to enter into the Canopy of the trees. The first zip line is 500 ft., and after that the lines vary from 300 to 800 ft. with various pitches and running speeds, with a total of 7 zip lines. This course will give you an unforgettable experience. You will also enjoy 3 Sky bridges transferring you from platform to platform in the middle of our course. Then at the end, there is a 40 foot vertical descent to the forest floor via a DEUS controlled descent device! Once back on the ground, you will get a fun ride via unique transportation, back to the Activities Center. The Aerial Excursion tour is limited to 8 persons per tour; larger groups will be broken down into sub-groups of 8 that begin the tour in 30-minute increments.

2 Ziplines – Flying V Gift Certificate

The course is designed as an intro course for those interested in ziplining but not ready to be in the tree canopies for long periods time. Don’t worry we kept the adrenaline and fun of ziplining! The ziplines are in a “V” structure, with great views of our pedal cart track and other zipline tours. With 2 ziplines covering a length of over 590 ft. you will cruise at an average speed of 25 mph, leaving from our observation deck and returning to a 15 ft. platform next to our deck. The Flying V tour is operated on a half hour time basis with 8 persons per tour, so larger groups will be broken down into sub-groups of 8 that begin the tour in 30-minute increments.
