It isn’t every day that you hear about a company REDUCING rates for next year, but that is what is happening at RMC for 2015, at least for winter retreats. You may be thinking “why are we talking about 2015 already….. Well, if you are thinking that then this info probably won’t benefit you too much, but for those of you who like to plan ahead (and we know there are plenty of you who plan annual retreats and are already planning for next year) we have a great offer for you.
We have noticed over the past 2 years that since we have added more lodging capacity for retreats, the demand for use of these areas has not been as high during Dec-January, as it is the rest of the season. We can be just as REFRESHING of a place in the winter….. J We have some great hills for snow tubing (if God provides the snow) as well as ample indoor space for activities (i.e. 2 gyms, a recently expanded camp store, numerous meeting rooms, large Dining Hall, etc). We can run Teambuilding and Rock Climbing indoors during the winter months, and on mild winter days, outdoor ziplining and other Adventure Activities are also an option.
Now to get you really excited about a winter retreat, RMC is offering some great discounts for events finalized by March 31, 2014 and scheduled to occur between Dec 2014 and February 2015. The details of the discounts vary according to group size and lodging type. In general, the discounts range from 4% to 12% off retreat costs, with 25% off any activities booked with an overnight retreat, plus FREE Group Leader Stays. Events rebooking from 2014 will also receive $100 credit toward activities and/or AV equipment rentals. Here are some sample rate scenarios.
Weekend Retreat of 2 nights and 4 meals (Dec 2014 to Jan 2015, does NOT apply to holidays) 
Youth Group in bunks with 30-60 persons. $91.98 pp
Youth Group in bunks with 60-120 persons $89.26 pp
Adult Group in Lodges with 30-60 persons $120.71 pp (quad occupancy, with linens)
Adult Group in Lodges with 90-125 persons $114.22 pp (quad occupancy, with linens)
Small Group in Cabins with 20-32 persons $122.63 pp (6-8 occupancy, with linens)
And now for the “fine print”.
The discounts are not available for holiday weekends like MLK Jr weekend, or President’s Day weekend and there is a 2 night required minimum stay for Winter Retreat DISCOUNTS.
