Give the Gift of an Experience

We hear a lot about quality time and being intentional about making memories with friends and family. In our fast paced society this is so important to keep in mind or we get so caught up in life that we forget to live. Two of our goals for Zip Liners is that they leave 1) feeling better about themselves for challenging their limits and possibly overcoming fears and, 2) feeling closer and more connected to whomever they are sharing this experience with.

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to go on the Aerial Excursion Tour for the first time. Along in the group were a mother, her young son, and her fiancé. Though each relationship seemed to be a good one, it was neat to see that by the end of the course how the son was asking to go tandem with his future step father because he was less nervous that way and could ride faster while feeling secure.

Who do you need to spend some quality time with?
Whom might you connect better with if you had a bonding experience like zip lining with?
Who do you know that needs the gift of a great experience rather than more “stuff”?
