Looking for a field trip option for your home school students?
Our Homeschool days are back with you in mind. We increased activities and hours you can be on-site while keeping it low cost for homeschool families without sacrificing education and fun! Designed with families in mind we maintained our price cap and you can spend the day together as a family!
NEW Nature Walks and Foraging Lessons
Embark on these new experiences with our resident wildlife experts, offering guided nature walks and foraging lessons. Guided tours will be offered during the package periodically throughout the morning and afternoon.
- Nature Walks will focus on different native habitat types and the creatures that live there.
- Foraging Lessons will include finding and learning about some of the area’s common wild edibles.
Designed with your Family in mind
- Activities are open for ages 5+ (including adults!). We heard you, and so we designed a day that includes your 5 y/o AND if you want to participate, you too!
- More activities, one low cost for your family. Spend all day enjoying 8 or 9 activities at one low family friendly price.
- Scheduled ziplines and high ropes. Depending on which package you choose (Adventure 1 or 2), you schedule the time for your zipline or elevated obstacle course so you do not have to wait in line.
- Relaxed feel, move at your own pace. Schedule a time for your Adventure 1 or 2 zipline or elevated obstacle course activity, but be here from 9AM-5PM enjoying the other activities.

Homeschool Day FAQs
If My Child Is 5 Y/O Able To Do All The Activities?
Absolutely!
Keep in mind certain activities like the elevated obstacle course have some more challenging obstacles that some 5-7 y/o may not be able to complete, meaning the younger kiddos may not be able to do all 33 obstacles. However, we redesigned the elevated obstacle course in Fall 2022, to provide more access to more obstacles for younger kids – and we couldn’t be more excited for them!
What is your Family Friendly Pricing?
As homeschooler parents with many kids we understand how pricing can be prohibitive. So we made a Family Friendly Price Child Cap. If your base price for children exceeds $125 when registering for your family, you can get the $125 Child Cap by calling our office, 717-738-1490.
In Previous Years I Had To Chaperone Certain Groups, What Will That Look Like This Year?
Great question! Our homeschool days are designed with families in mind and gone are the days of group chaperones. We know families like to remain together, so you’ll be able to travel as a family throughout your day!
We Want To Be With Our Homeschool Co-Op And Friends, How Do We Do That?
We recommend trying to schedule similar time slots for the ziplines/elevated obstacle course with your friends and homeschool co-op. Each half hour will have a certain number of spots to register for, but even if your ziplines or elevated obstacle course times are not at the same exact time you will still be able to enjoy the day together.
We know homeschoolers are planners- we are homeschoolers ourselves! We wanted to take a lot of that stress away this year, so we made it accessible for groups to be here through out the day, navigating activities as you please to be with one another and with less responsibilities. So try to plan, but don’t be stressed if your scheduled ziplines/elevated obstacle course times are not at the same times or even same hour.
Do I Need To Stay All Day?
Nope! It’s up to you.
Most people will stay for 3-4 hours, but you are also welcome to enjoy the day from 9AM-5PM. Again, you determine your day by navigating to activities as you please to be with your family and friends and with less responsibilities.
When Is Payment Due? What Is Cancelation And Refund Policy For Homeschool Days?
Do Activities Close Down For Lunch?

We do have a Lunch Add-on for select dates! Register ahead of time for our lunch buffet and enjoy all you can eat entrees, sides, and salad bar! Availability will show when registering for lunch, be sure to register the same day you are coming.
Otherwise, you are still welcome to bring your own lunch. There are picnic tables and pavilion space for you to eat your bag lunch. The cafe may be opened for light food items, drinks, snacks, and souvenirs if you would like to purchase additional items.

At the same time, there are aspects of our topography and certain safety requirements of some of our elements that can pose a challenge to guests with limited mobility and/or over 250 lbs. We do have options that can be explored for special accommodation and we welcome a conversation about any particular needs your guests may have. Please give us a call at 717-738-1490.
