Horseback Riding Lessons

We have been grateful to train many wonderful riders over the years. We’ve placed a pause on our horse riding lessons. We would love to bring back horse riding lessons, but do not have any plans for the foreseeable future. Thank you to all for the many seasons of riding, it has been a great joy! We are continuing to provide boarding spaces.
Discount available for group lessons. (Maximum of three riders.)
We require all first-time students to start with a private lesson in order to gauge experience and appropriate level before being placed in a group lesson. Group lessons are discounted and available to riders who are able to independently handle their horse/pony safely.
At Refreshing Mountain, we offer Western and English horseback riding lessons for children & adults of all ages and experience levels. Each of our private lessons are 1 hour long and are designed to instill a strong foundation in excellent horsemanship as well as providing riders with an encouraging and educational experience. From the “first-time” beginner to the more experienced or seasoned riders, all are welcome!

All lessons are taught by a CHA certified horse riding instructor, Hannah Harnish.
