Hands on learning about PA's unique wildlife and habitats!
This class is an exciting guide to Pennsylvania’s unique wildlife species and their habitats. Topics covered include: birds of prey, conservation of habitats, importance of pollinators, mammal diversity, native reptiles and amphibians. Furs, bird nests, and live specimens will be used to give students a hands-on experience. There will also be time given to explore on a short nature walk. During this time students will have the opportunity to search for bugs and salamanders under rocks, try to ID various song birds, and more!
*Rate is per hour. For increased participation, group sizes 20+ are placed in smaller groups of 15-20. You will need 1 hour per group of 15-20.
