Teambuilding
Note To Group Leaders
Many of the events listed below work well with a group size of 15-20 persons. If you have more than 20 persons in your group, multiple events can be run simultaneously (i.e. a group of 100 persons could run 5 groups simultaneously). RMC is happy to help you create an Activities Schedule for your event. We can make recommendations on activities that will fit for your group, fit your budget, etc. If you would like help in planning such an event, and/or if you have more questions pertaining to a specific activity, please contact sunny@refreshingmountain.com.

Large Group Teambuilding
This event is for groups of 26-40 persons. This is a great activity to draw everyone in your group closer together. Scenarios or "problems" will be presented to the group by RMC staff and the group will then work together to solve the "problem". These events are a lot of fun and they help the group to learn more about each other, work together, and serve each other. These events teach concepts like: servant leadership, trusting others, being trustworthy, recognizing needs in the group and helping meet those needs, etc. Group Initiative sessions can be booked in hourly segments, with the typical duration being 1.5 - 2 hours.

Small Group Teambuilding
This event is for groups of 10-25 persons (see above for group size of 26-40 persons).

We have 20+ elements in our teambuilding course; plus a variety of portable group initiatives available. Corporate, churches, and public/private school groups come year after year to experience new challenges and learn character traits and life skills. Teambuilding sessions can be booked in hourly segments, with the typical duration being 1.5-2 hours (during a 2 hour session, your group will most likely participate in 4-6 different activities). RMC keeps a history of the events that your group does from year to year, so that repeat groups can participate in different events from year to year. We can generally accomplish a 4 year rotation without repetition of events (i.e. this works great for High School Groups to make this an annual event).

Camp Fire
We have 9 different spots to set up a campfire, depending on your group size. You have the option to set the fire up yourself or we can set it up for you.

Physical Challenge Course
The physical challenge course is a great activity that combines physical activity with a scavenger hunt. Designed for groups of 15-25 persons, with an approx duration of 1 hour. Think you can find the black spider, run around the pond 3 times, do 600 push ups, build a 4-base pyramid? Maybe not by yourself, but if your group works together, I bet you can find a way to get it all accomplished before the time runs out!

Nature Studies
In our nature studies, you will be lead by a staff member through the woods while identifying different trees and animals you may come across along the way. This is a great educational experience for all ages of people.

Orienteering
In orienteering, you will learn how to read a map and use a compass to follow directions. Try to follow a series of clues that will lead you to your final destination!

Archery/Sling Shot
Our Archery and Sling Shot courses are right next to each other, which make it very convenient to use both at the same time. Each can have 6 people shooting at the same time. Test your accuracy at one and then a half hour late switch to the other. This is a great activity for birthday parties, ideally suited for children ages 7 to 15. It is recommended that your group size be a max of 20 persons per rotation of 1/2 to 1 hour.

Paintball Obstacle Course
In the paintball obstacle course, participants will maneuver through different obstacles while shooting at different targets! Participants will not be shooting at other people. Instead, they can compete on speed and accuracy in target shooting. This is a great way to experience the fun of using a Paintball "marker" (i.e. gun) without having to worry about getting shot at by other people.
