High Adventure

Note To Group Leaders
Many of the events listed below work well with a group size of 15-20 persons. If you have more than 20 persons in your group, multiple events can be run simultaneously (i.e. a group of 100 persons could run 5 groups simultaneously). RMC is happy to help you create an Activities Schedule for your event. We can make recommendations on activities that will fit for your group, fit your budget, etc. If you would like help in planning such an event, and/or if you have more questions pertaining to a specific activity, please contact Kelsey Adams (our Guest Services Coordinator) at kelsey@refreshingmountain.com.

Climbing Wall
The indoor climbing wall is used in the winter and in inclement weather during spring, summer, and fall. It is 16 feet tall and all participants are recommended to be at least 10 years old. 2 persons can climb at a time.

Giant's Ladder
The giant ladder is a series of 5 rungs spaced approximately 3-5' apart. The ladder is "free swinging" which makes it difficult to climb; you work with a partner to get to the top of the ladder as quickly as possible. The higher you go the more you need to work together to reach the log on top. Try to get on top of the log for an extra challenge.

Climbing Tower
The climbing tower is a 34 foot climbing wall with 4 phases of difficulty. We have added overhead lights so that you can participate in the climbing tower at night to add another level of difficulty. You can reserve the climbing tower until 11:00 PM. Up to 4 persons can climb simultaneously.

Giant Swing
The giant swing is exactly what it sounds like. You are secured in a harness and attached to a rope. You are then pulled into the air and when you are released you will swing on a 35' pendulum. You are sure to get a rush out of this adventure!

High Ropes
The High Ropes Course is an obstacle course containing 9 elements built 30-50 feet above the ground. Additionally, you will use a zip line to both enter the course and exit, so you don't even have to "climb" to get to the course. Approx 15-25 persons can participate per hour, depending how you arrange the course use (for example, to get 20-25 persons through, each person would participate in about 1/2 of the elements). Participants must weigh between 80-280 lbs.

Wobbly Log
On the wobbly log, two people stand on opposite ends of the log and try to work together as you switch sides. Sounds easy right? One minor detail... it is suspended 20' in the air.

Zip Line
The zip line is 400-feet of flying fun! Participants will climb into a tree "house" approx 35' in the air, and then "zip" across our pond and to the ground. We also offer the zip line at night to add another element of excitement. We line the zip course with "tiki torches" and use headlamps on the helmets. You can schedule the zip line until 11:00 PM.
