What is a Canopy Tour?
A Zip Line Canopy Tour is a series of cables and platforms that take you on an exhilarating tour through forests and wildlife. Canopy Tours were originally created to study different plant life and trees. Now it has become much more about the exciting "Zip" experience than the study, however, we still try and show wildlife and the forest from a perspective you'll never forget!
Refreshing Canopy Zip Lines are designed to make your experience both refreshing, exhilarating and even challenging at times. Participants will be harnessed to a pulley that rides the cable and will "zip" from platform to platform through the "canopy" of trees through which the course is built. We have two courses to choose from, both providing a refreshing aspect of the forest and wildlife in beautiful Lancaster PA. Challenge Adventure Tour
- 5 Zip Lines
- 9 Challenge Elements
- Over 1,400 ft long
- Approx 1-2 hour duration
If you don't want as much of a challenge, feel free to walk across our 70 ft "cat walk" bridge instead, skipping the challenge elements and taking you to the next part of the course. You then continue on through 4 more zip lines extending to 60 feet off the ground and zipping over our pond.
The Challenge Adventure Course has 5 total zip lines plus 9 additional challenge elements. The zip lines have a combined length of over 1400 feet! Depending on group size the Challenge Adventure course can take anywhere from an hour to two hours to complete. This course meets/exceeds all safety standards set by PA Dept of Agriculture Rides and Measurements Bureau.

Aerial Excursion Tour

The Tour will start with a short hike to the entrance of the course. Then you can traverse up our sky bridge to enter into the Canopy of the trees. The first zip line is 500 ft, and after that the lines vary from 300 to 800 ft with various pitches and running speeds, with a total of 7 zip lines. This course will give you an unforgettable experience. You will also enjoy 3 Sky bridges transferring you from platform to platform in the middle of our course. Then at the end, we have a distinctive surprise that you'll never expect! Once back on the ground, you will get a fun ride via unique transportation, back to the Activities Center. This tour takes between 2 and 3 hours to complete.
