We have lots of outdoor activities for groups of all ages, sizes and budgets. We’ve been providing retreats and outdoor adventures to groups in Lancaster County for over 30 years and have special packages just for school groups.
Kids love Refreshing Mountain because we offer a unique outdoor environment with lots of adventure and excitement. They’ll be begging to ride on our ziplines, but we also have other high adventure activities include the Giant Swing, Giant Ladder and High Ropes Challenge Course. We also offer plenty of ground activities including scavenger hunts, physical challenge course and team building challenges. Our pool and other outdoor recreation areas provide ample space for free time and we have outdoor pavilions for lunch or you could enjoy a catered buffet meal in our dining hall.
Teachers love Refreshing Mountain because we offer a fun and exciting approach to educational experiences. Each of our outdoor activities are designed in a way to teach principles of team building and communication. Our high adventure activities help participants to trust each other and challenge their fears. We also have nature studies and orienteering programs and offer nature scavenger hunts.
